SEOUL, South Korea, Oct. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Eye Level has opened registration for the 2026 Eye Level Math Olympiad (ELMO 2026), inviting elementary and middle school students from around the world to take part in the annual global math competition.
This year, ELMO extends its reach to South America for the first time, with Ecuador joining the competition. ELMO 2026 will be held across participating countries and regions including Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Macau, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, the United Kingdom, the United States, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, and Ecuador, with schedules varying by country and region.
Established in 2004, the Eye Level Math Olympiad is an international math competition designed to challenge students’ mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills. Reflecting the spirit of “One Test. A Thousand Possibilities,” ELMO encourages students to discover their potential and grow through the experience.
The ELMO assessment is organized by grade level and evaluates a range of mathematical abilities, including mathematical knowledge and arithmetic skills, the ability to understand and formulate word problems, and problem-solving proficiency. Through the competition, students can gain a clearer understanding of their current mathematical abilities, recognize their strengths, and identify areas that can help guide their next steps in learning.
Official results will be announced in January 2027 on globalelmo.com. Participants will also receive an individual result report with a detailed analysis of their performance.
